WSPD came to us with an idea: tell real stories of life “Beyond the Uniform” that would inspire recruits for their next academy class. We took that seed and built it out—creative development, scripting, shot lists, production, and editing—turning it into a four-part social campaign. The series blended organic reach with curated storytelling, striking the balance between elevated social content and full-blown documentary. More than algorithm filler, less than long-form, just right for scrolling.
The campaign delivered three short, freeform social pieces for quick-hit impact, plus one two-minute story that dug deeper into life beyond the badge. The stories showed the humanity behind the uniform:
Fishing on a quiet morning? Police officer.
Coaching track after school? Police officer.
Racing cars on the weekend? Police officer.
A father and his twin sons, ripping dirt bikes together? Police officers.
By highlighting lives that extend beyond the job, the campaign gave WSPD a sharper, more relatable voice online—and helped spark real interest in their recruiting efforts.
